Winnipeg Kids Martial Arts Summer Camp 2024
Get ready for a kickin' summer of fun and adventure at our martial arts camp, where kids can unleash their inner ninja, make new friends, and discover the power of discipline and self-confidence!
What happens at Kung Fu summer camp?
Exciting Movement!
Campers will explore exciting Kung Fu techniques, including with their own training weapons that they will take home at the end of camp.
Games!
A wide variety of interactive games are used to provide entertainment while also nurturing creativity, problem solving, and social interaction.
Slurpee Walk!
This daily ritual gets campers outside for a group walk with their friends to enjoy a summertime favourite!
Camp Times & Location
Camp 1: July 8th-12th.
Camp 2: July 22nd-26th
Camp 3: August 19th-23rd
Camp time is from 9 to 5 pm
Location: 955 Mulvey Avenue
Camp Fees
Registration is $325 per camp
Included are slurpees and the training weapons. Training weapons go home with them on the last day of camp.
Campers should bring lunches, snacks, and water bottles.
Clothing should be comfortable and allow for movement. This includes runners.
Cell phones are allowed, but use will be restricted to break times.
Instructor Sifu Joel Ledlow
Owner/Head Instructor Joel Ledlow has over 35 years of experience in movement. He is a 5th-degree Duo Ji Kung Fu black belt under Ed Monaghan. He is also a full instructor in Jeet Kune Do under Jerry Poteet, who trained with Bruce Lee in Los Angeles. These ranks award him the title of “Sifu,” meaning teacher.
